What the e-Stamp Paper API does

Create an electronic stamp-paper order for the state you are executing in, and receive the stamped document as a PDF. Stamp duty is passed through at cost — you pay the state exactly what the state charges — with a flat service fee on top. Articles (the head of charge under each State Stamp Act) are state-specific and available through a companion lookup.

Frequently asked questions

Which states are supported?

Articles are published per state and change over time; query the articles endpoint for the state you are stamping in. An article valid in Rajasthan is not valid in Maharashtra.

How is stamp duty charged?

At cost. You are billed a flat service fee plus the exact duty the state levies, including any state surcharge — Rajasthan adds 30% on the duty, and that follows the stamp, not your billing address.
